In the interest of preserving a piece of their legacy, I am compiling that playlist to be enjoyed by generations young and old long after The Sound has come to pass. A goal of this playlist is to feature the official studio versions of each track where possible. Frustratingly, there are exceptions to this, and artists such as Eagles, Bob Seger, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, AC/DC, Supertramp, and the collective work of The Beatles are occasionally subject to improper representation. To the wonderful men and women who participated in the broadcasting history of The Sound, thank you, deeply, for sharing your love with us.
