I have had quite an interesting career, working in very small restaurants (serving just 17 a night) to gigantic casinos, which serve up to 35 K meals daily and everything in between. I took my first executive chef when I was in my early 30's with 3 young sons and a husband, who, also, was in the industry. For most women, I feel you would be able to relate to many incidents that happen to me in my career even if you are in a totally different industry. But also, this book puts you right in my shoes in the back of the house so that you can understand the many difficulties as well as rewards that come with the territory. You will laugh, cry and possible get angry as you read my book. I hope you will give it a try. Throughout my career, because I worked in so many restaurants, 24 in all, I was able to work with many talented people and learn so much. From that, my creativity stirred. As a chef, you must create recipes, menus...and I absolutely loved that part of my job. I have written over 500 recipes and am now sharing them through these Youtube videos.
