Any beat your school drumline plays can be paired with keyboard / guitar / bass / drum kit to add melody and harmony to the beats. Then, adding keyboard percussion will make your drumline program a complete percussion ensemble! Adding modern band and keyboard instruments to your school drumline will allow the ensemble to perform songs instead of just beats, engaging your school community even more! Most people recognize the melody from a song more than just the beat; with keyboards and keyboard percussion, you can add the melody over the beat from the drumline, and soon the audience will be singing along at pep rallies, concerts, and assemblies.
