Kurt Solmssen, Artist of the Puget Sound
6 videos • 497 views • by John Thornton My friend Kurt Solmssen paints the beauty of the world around him, and the fact that he lives in a particularly lovely place, Washington state on the Puget Sound, just adds to the gorgeous intensity of his art. This is the first part of a longer format documentary that I am attempting to make. I got to visit Kurt earlier this summer and film him and his family in their hometown of Vaughn. I also attended Kurt's art opening last winter in New York City. Because YouTube has a 10 minute time limit, I will be uploading chapters of this film over time and I will make a playlist of the entire film, entitled "Kurt Solmssen, Artist".
