There, I did internships at Comedy Central and Myspace Music, which I believe I got due in large part to this YouTube channel. At this time, I also attended YouTube gatherings and immersed myself in the budding YouTube community, doing as many collaborations as I could. I applied and was accepted for the Partner Program so I could now monetize my videos. I spent every waking moment that I was living in New York working on my YouTube channel. Then, YouTube rewarded my hard work by featuring one of my videos "AutoTuned" on the YouTube homepage at that time, which skyrocketed my career and put me on the map. In a short time, I went from relative obscurity to becoming one of the most subscribed comedy YouTubers in the world with over 100,000 subscribers which was a lot back then. People loved these comedy music videos so I began taking requests in the form of comments and doing vlogs at the end of my videos. With every video, I tried pushing the limits of my comedy, writing, directing, and editing. This was one of the most memorable times of my entire YouTube career, because of the community aspect and what the creator space was becoming. The energy was infectious and to this day, I've never experienced anything quite like it.
