Griff's Dance Videos

We won the disco dance contests that little kids often had at their birthday parties during the mid and late seventies. During the eighties, break dancing came on the seen. I started practicing it the minute I saw it. It flowed. I wanted to do that with my body. Being one of the rare coordinated white guys (no offense, white dudes, but let's keep it real), I quickly became "White Boy Fresh" and popped, danced, and battled often. Dancing eventually became a form of meditation to me--a way to show what music looks and feels like. I club danced through the nineties, but nothing resonated with me more than dancing in nature or in my house when I needed an attitude pick up. Now I am too old to be caught at the club and am no longer interested in battling. So I dance to connect. I dance to connect to the youth I work with, to people I hang out with, and to my Youtube viewers. I dance to celebrate this abundant planet that needs our love to keep from being over exploited. Dance with me, dance with others, dance to feel better, dance to heal others. Dance because there is some real good music that needs to be danced to.
