Enable The Link Cable - Exploring multiplayer Gameboy and Gameboy Color features.

65 videos • 7,459 views • by Zack “SquallSnake” G Nintendo's original Gameboy and Gameboy Color systems had a large library of games. Many of these titles included multiplayer support for 2-4 players by connecting Gameboys with a link cable. Unlike the Single-Pak link option found in select Gameboy Advance games or even the Download Play option found in compatible DS games, GB and GBC multiplayer gaming requires a cartridge for each player. Connecting systems with a link cable and another copy of the game can be tricky, time consuming, and a little cumbersome. Pokemon Red/Blue and the original Tetris are probably the two games that were linked the most but there are many other quality link cable-based experiences out there. Since there is shockingly little published about this extremely overlooked multiplayer feature, I wanted to share my findings through this YouTube series. Let me know what you think.
