Leftovers

12 videos • 184 views • by Bolonium Colorado band Bolonium releases 4th album “Leftovers” in a collaborative effort with kindred musicians. The band's quirky dance-rock sound is the creation of Richard Taylor (accordion, lead vocals) and Tim Johnson (guitar). “Leftovers” features a wide range of musical guests, from New York’s glam rockers Theophobia, to L.A.’s ska-punk Radioactive Chicken heads, as well as over a dozen Colorado musicians. Bolonium released their first album in 2015, and made their way into the Denver music scene with the help of drummer Bonnie Finley and bassist Paul Day. After years of hyperactive live shows, two more albums, and dozens of colorful d.i.y. music videos, Bolonium was ready to enlist their community of friends to fulfill their vision of “Leftovers.” Bolonium blends bass heavy new wave rhythms, tight accordion riffs, spastic guitar and tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Their music would not be out of place as the soundtrack to a Saturday morning cartoon, an 80’s aerobics video, or in a heavy metal club. These wide ranging influences create a cohesive vibe (with the help of some friends) on the new album “Leftovers.” https://bolonium.bandcamp.com/album/l...
