The central challenges of humankind have to do with how we do understand nature and relate with other human beings. Valuable lessons can be draw for all humankind from the Andean-amazonian cosmovision. Andean-amazonian cosmovision has comes up from anciant civilizations (Karal, Chawpin, Tiyawanaku, Wari, Muchik, Inka, among others) evolved in the lowlands of the Andean west coasts, the highlands and the lowlands of the Amazon. That cosmovision is alive in the mind setting, hearts and practice of nowadays Andean-amazonian people.
KAMAQ is not just an organization but a personal commitment aimed to put in value Andean-amazonian wisdom, knowledge, thinking, technology and practices as bases for the sustainability of Andean-Amazonian communities, and a valuable input for the sustainability of all humankind. KAMAQ facilitates exchange and generation of knowledge (no money, no material gadgets, no recipes) aimed to strengthening the respect for nature and human beings worldwide, especially in the Andes.
Since 2006 KAMAQ promotes the "Andean Cosmovision School" for primary school children in several communities of Peru. In 2008 KAMAQ has produced a CD of Andean music with Harp&Violin of Huamalies-Huánuco, Peru. During 2008-2009 KAMAQ conceptualized and implemented the project "Ñuqanchikmanta Yachay" in the primary school Carmen Alto in Comas, Lima-Peru. KAMAQ facilitates intercultural exchange of children and youth of different Andean communities (i.e. Lima, Ancash, Huánuco) and with people of several worldwide cultural backgrounds.
KAMAQ has conceptualized the ''KUNTUR PAWAY'' project - a message for the world' children, and during 2010 it is being implemented in primary schools in Lima.
We are much eager to join efforts, especially with worldwide children and youth, to strengthening values that respect nature and human being, and enhance cultural understanding worldwide.
