As the founder of the renowned Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, he recognized early on that a hotel's most valuable resource is its employees, who are the most important driving force in creating a perfect hotel experience. Inspired by Horst Schulze's understanding of excellence & driven by my professional interest in the luxury hotel industry, I set out in search of the perfect hotels in the world. In doing so, I realized that this pursuit of excellence is more important than ever. Most luxury hotels offer features & amenities that are often interchangeable in nature. In most cases, it is only the service that differentiates a true luxury hotel from a supposed five-star hotel.
