Hello all. I'm Gary Colmey. This the year 2014 is my 31st year in retail music. What I began in a small kiosk on Liberty Plaza in 1983 has grown to become one of the most recognizable and trusted retail outlets for musical gear in Central New York.
As a touring musician from the early 70's to the 90's I was always as fascinated with the mechanics of music making as I was with the actual process and performance, so my transition from *full time musician to music products retailer was natural. I'm very thankful to have found my niche' here in Rome, where an independent, professional, knowledgeable music supplier is still recognized and appreciated.
So take a look around. My goal is for this online presence to simply be an adjunct to the "brick and mortar" store that local musicians of all ages continue to embrace.
