This Society is located in Vancouver, Canada, and is affiliated to the Ramakrishna Order of monks having its headquarters in Belur Math, India.
The Society is formed for purely religious and charitable purposes, which are as follows: (a) To promote devotion to God and the recognition of truth in all great religions of the world. (b) To promote the study, the practice and the teaching of Vedanta Philosophy and religion in general, as expounded by Sri Ramakrishna, Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other great spiritual leaders. (c) To promote harmony between the different religious, philosophical, and spiritual thoughts of the world.
