This channel is for children, teachers and parents that want to read about wonderful characters from different places around the world. It’s important to celebrate and love ourselves because we are all beautiful just the way we are! Books that represent a variety of cultures and people help us understand those who are different than us by opening a window into their world.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself, I'm a teacher who has always worked with students from many different backgrounds. I love reading to my young students and allowing them to go on reading adventures! As a child, I never found books with characters I can relate to or that looked like me! So join me, while I read stories about different places, people, animals, cultures, beliefs, and skin colors!
