Hubert Amenya alias ` Brand UB' is a talented rapper and producer in East Africa. He developed interest in music when he was in primary school inspired by his grandmother Susan Amenya who was a music teacher and church chorister. His first hit was 'Shake Your Body' produced at Duplex records in 2004, then performing in a duo known as 'Last born sons' with Charles Okanya alias 'Charlie'. He released 'Tingisha Kichwa' in 2005, earning him a name in the rap scene as a top player with his lyrical prowess, flow and delivery. The duo then released 'Feel Happy' in 2006 again, which was also well received getting heavy rotation.

His single 'Uwongo' in 2010 affirmed his position as a force to reckon with. Other releases include 'Dunia Ina Mambo' (2011) and several other hit collaborations like 'Gyal Remix', Fimbo Ya Tatu, 'Kitu Tamu' and 'Papa Wemba' that featured top artistes in the industry.
He is currently releasing music under his own recording label Kambi Ya Wazito.
