Once upon time...I joined the First Methodist choir in January 2015 and began to consider archiving/preserving our music on Youtube (and multiple hard drives). I found this wasn't being done. Moreover, because we were broadcasting on live television, we would frequently lose the prelude and postlude (at least). This led to my purchase of some budget Canon camcorders...and of course an audio recorder (Zoom H5). Then I needed another camera for the piano....and one for the choir...and one for a backup...then one in 4K, then another Zoom. Then COVID hit and impacted everything. When we came back we didn't have the equipment still in place to broadcast/stream or record...so I added a Zoom livetrak-8 and took it straight off the choir/organ mics and mixed 5 video streams. Every. Sunday. Did I mention this isn't my day job? :-)
Now we have 1,000's of videos with a little something for everyone who values traditional Christian music sung well.
And I've added the full service!
