This is the sibling channel to “The Falconry Girl.” I’ve decided to separate my music and falconry videos into two separate channels.
With that out of the way - I am a traditional fiddler with background in classical violin. I play a mishmash of styles - Old-Time, Bluegrass, Irish, and even the odd Cajun tune here or there - but I heavily lean towards Scottish fiddle stylistically. I also play the Hardingfele - I learned a few Scandinavian tunes specifically to play on that instrument, but I’m also finding that Niel Gow airs and Shetland tunes just come to life on those sympathetic strings! While fiddle is absolutely my primary instrument, I also play piano, bodhran, and highland bagpipes. I’m working on Uilleann pipes - wish me luck 😅
