Guliyev Riad was born in 1977 in Baku.
In 1993, he was admitted to the Bulbul Secondary Music School, Faculty of Piano.
In 1997, he graduated with honors from the Bulbul Secondary Music School at the Piano Faculty.
In 1997 he entered the piano faculty of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli.
In 2001 he graduated from the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli with a bachelor's degree in piano and organ.
From 2004 to 2010 he worked as a teacher at the Bulbul Music School.
From 2017 to 2021, he worked as the Deputy Director of the Culture Channel.
From 2021 to 2023, he worked as the Deputy Director of the International Mugam Center.
From 2023 to the present day, he has been working at the Azerbaijan National Academy as the head of the department for concerts, creative and public events.
As a second education, he studied at the "International Relations" faculty of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
