Why hello there, I'm Toby. Here I will be presenting to you an array of personable, comfy, but hopefully nevertheless substantive video discussions on cinema, music, and literature - or whatever takes my fancy really. The main series on this channel will be High Contrast Criticism, wherein I either gush or rage about a given work of art depending on how I feel. I hope to not only deliver hot takes on hot films but also put a spotlight on obscure and overlooked media that I think deserves more attention. I will also be presenting to you video essays written by myself or 2 of my good friends.
I will also be running a fortnightly podcast where me and a friend or a few discuss a film, album, and short story/poem/article that all share a particular theme. Finally, I will be uploading all my favorite music videos and experimental short films to this channel.
