Basketball page with a focus on the Houston Rockets. Plan to chronicle the entire history of the team, touching on the local area and the sport in general. The first part will centre around The Big E, Elvin Hayes and his rivalry with Kareem Abdul Jabbar (Lew Alcindor) that reached it's climax at the Game of the Century in 1968. I'll focus on the start of professional basketball in the city of Houston with Slater Martin's Houston Mavericks of the ABA and then the cities first NBA franchise, the Houston Rockets.

The ABA becomes a more central focus during the second part of the documentary that introduces the next star player, the Chairman of the Boards, Moses Malone. Moses takes the franchise through the 70's and into the early 80's, guiding the team to their first NBA Finals appearance. The Rockets seceond appearnance in the NBA Finals is chronicled in part three, The Twin Towers. From there I'll move through the 90's & 2000's focusing on The Dream, The Comets, Yao & Harden.
