The Film Office-Central Macedonia is a newly established regional film office, based in Thessaloniki, the capital of Central Macedonia, in Northern Greece. It is the first regional film office to be launched as a public institution in Greece and it was founded on the initiative of the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia Mr Apostolos Tzitzikostas, who leads the Region’s effort to become a competitive filming destination.
The Film Office-Central Macedonia runs as a regional public service, with the scope to successfully facilitate audiovisual productions of all types, which are shot in the region, while enhancing extroversion and investments in film tourism.
