Lianne is a portrait artist based in Dorset in the UK.
Lianne works with Graphite, charcoal, Arylic, oil paints and her Nikon camera although her favourite medium is oil painting.
Since Lianne was at an age where she could pick up a pencil, she has had a love of drawing! But it wasn't until the age of 23 that she decided to study it properly. Using every possible resource at her disposal she taught herself to draw and paint using various tools and techniques.
With her drawings and paintings Lianne likes to strive for an element of realism whilst retaining an element of artistic style and flare, capturing her subjects likeness whilst at the same time making sure her art looks like artwork and not photographs. She works hard to develop her own style which she tries to improve upon and tweak with every completed work.
