VOIX (pronounced as ‘Voo-ahh’) is SMU’s premier a cappella group! Join us as we "Redefine A Cappella!"
Passionate about singing and performing without the use of any instrument, VOIX has a wide range of repertoire from pop ballads to swing and jazz. VOIX usually performs in groups of 6 – 15 singers at any one time, taking on the image of an exclusively fun ‘a cappella band’.
VOIX performs regularly at SMU events and holds an annual concert to showcase our new additions. In addition, VOIX performs for external gigs occasionally.
