After surviving stage four cancer, and undertaking Captain Australia's BIG WALK (Brisbane to Melbourne) for The Kids' Cancer Project, in an attempt to heal and do something righteous, I have now commenced CAPTAIN AUSTRALIA'S BIG LAP (www.capsbiglap.au) to raise money and awareness for The Kids' Cancer Project. Having survived cancer myself (grim prognosis, 6 months to live, 40-60% chance chemoradiation is successful), I understand that if it fails to take your life, cancer tries to take your hope, dignity, and the treatment inflicts gut-wrenching side effects. No child should have to endure that. 26 December 2021 I will walk from Brisbane to Melbourne (2000km+) for the charity, and 16 July 2023, I set out to walk all around the entire country, and as at December have made it 3000km+ to Adelaide.
