About
"King of the Kolo" is all about celebrating and promoting beautiful Serbian traditional folk circle dances known as the 'Kolo'. Zoran Rakočević has spent a lifetime trying to master the finer details of the Serbian Kolo and has been very fortunate to have spent quality time with great Serbian artists such as Branimir Đokić, Dragan Aleksandrić and Novica Negovanović who have further facilitated his ongoing learning of Serbian folk music. The Kolo is played in Serbia and throughout the Balkans in its various forms and it celebrates life through music and dance.
