Hola amigos, my name is Emma and I’m a hobby farmer in the Midwest. I farm on 11 acres in the heart of Missouri where I grow organic vegetables, herbs, fruits and raise chickens, ducks, and turkeys for eggs and meat.
Hearing the stories from my parents growing up in Mexico and then working in the fields as immigrants in California ignited a passion for learning about my roots. I started farming to grow fresh food for my family and bring us closer to the source of our food.
I do all that on this little slice of heaven I like to call Sonnie's Place.
