Matt Norton grew up the son of a Pastor in Rural New York. His childhood was heavily impacted by the CCM/Jesus Music Festivals and culture of the 70’s 80’s and 90’s
Classic CCM Christian Rock pioneers, and Bands like Petra,Stryper Keith Green, Rez band, Russ Taff, Michael W. Smith, Mylon LeFevre & Broken Heart left a lasting impression, strengthening the faith Norton would need as young man to face a terminal liver illness and a painful divorce to his collage sweetheart of 25 years.
Matt Norton’s Music focuses on perseverance, Praising God through adversity and strife.
Blending the elements of Power Pop, AOR Melodic Rock, Ska, Power Metal, Pop Punk, and Post Modern Grunge with contemporary Praise and Worship he creates high energy music that is full of life excitement and inspiration.
