I am a retired Silicon Valley Consultant, and amateur violinist.
I have forgotten more than I ever knew, but...
Worked at Control Data, CTI: a Siemens subsidiary, HP, & others.
Consulted at IBM, HP, McKesson, Space Labs Medical, & others.
Among other things, during my career I was a Smalltalk expert, I designed and built CAD systems, Enhanced widgets to add scaled and rotated placement, Designed and build the front end for Point of Sales & Order Processing for multi-cash register and multi-store integration.
Definitely the Black Sheep, In college I never graduated or took any advanced technical course, but on the violin, I played a full classical music recital by memory even though I wasn't in the music college.
Worked full time as a stagehand & Union projectionist during most of my college years.
Engaged in Computer Art in the early days, One year placed first in State Wide math contest for all Arizona high schools.
