re.verse is a collective of musicians and composer/producers from Toronto melding modern jazz with influences from a spectrum of groove based music from around the world - hip hop, neo-soul/R&B, deep house, jungle/ drum & bass, breaks, future funk, afro-latin sounds and more, all presented in dynamically curated and seamless "DJ style" sets.
Originally starting in 2014 as a trio comprised of Damian Matthew aka DIOMO (soundcloud.com/soundslikediomo) on 6-string bass, Robb Cappelletto on guitar and Chino De Villa on drums & percussion, the group now includes Todd Pentney aka HiFiLo on keys/synths, and Austin Gembora on additional drums/percussion. re.verse has also done extensive collaborations and session work with renowned Canadian artists including DJ Skratch Bastid (youtube.com/watch?v=xmyaUHGrmvQ), The Halluci Nation, Phoenix Pagliacci, Tona, Tanika Charles and more.
