I've been wrapped up in writing the book the last few months, but with that out of the way, posted a blog about a weird encounter yesterday morning with Dash the Wonder-Beagle. He's strange but somehow amazing at the same time...

Yes friends... the Holidays are upon us and here's a teaser photo for our last video of the year to hit the airwaves, er or the microwaves, er, or the broadband lines tomorrow at 2:00 PM Eastern. After a bunch of family and friend orders for furniture this year, it was fun to get silly and whimsical and "kinetic" for our last video offering of 2024.
I hope you all enjoy and I truly hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Happy Holiday season regardless of faith. All are welcome here and our best wishes go out to you all. Oh, and if the picture below doesn't look familiar I'd encourage you to go watch the Charlie Brown Christmas Special which came out in the 60's but still hits the cable movie listings every year...

My favorite youngest daughter just set up the new woodshop desk in her home office with plenty of room left on the desktop for pens or tissues or chocolate or whatever young professional women like to have at the ready. And to finally explain the "Favorite" inside joke I've mentioned in other videos.... we have 3 kids. My favorite son, my favorite oldest daughter and my favorite youngest daughter. That way, everybody is my favorite!

Check out our local YWCA charity raffle which will include some of our recently donated woodworking projects. Additional information about the "Women of Achievement" event and the raffle is available on the YWCA-GLBR facebook page. Unfortunately as per State of Michigan rules, raffle tickets of this sort can only be purchased in person or by calling the YWCA at the number attached. Should you like to donate or take a chance at winning one of our wood shop items, please be aware that any winning raffle/prize will need to be picked up at the GLBR Offices in Bay City, Michigan. Thanks very much for your support!

Hi gang! I really, really need your input about the future direction of our channel. It's been hard to grow viewership these past couple years and I want to improve our content to make it more interesting, more professional and simply more better and gooder. (Light comedy added to make a point). Please let me know what you think below and thanks very much for your continued support! (Add other comments under the survey)

A Subscriber Makes an Awesome Table! Check out the pic!
Huge congratulations to JJ from Australia who made his own folding card table based on the video we made a few months ago. It really looks great and I appreciate the use of local tree species in Australia too. Well done. Carry on! Aussie, Aussie, Aussie... OY, Oy, Oy! (click the right arrow to see all images)

Hey! Super huge thanks to all of you who have subscribed and continue to come back to the channel for actual, original wood shop content! In a 2024 YouTube world filled to the gills with videos about somebody else's content, or AI generated voice overs on previously published videos, it's very cool to see the support from people who appreciate hand crafted wood stuff as well as fresh and original videos. You are the coolest! Thanks so much for your support and please let me know in video comments or in a note on our website, if there's a project you'd like to see or for any feedback you'd like to offer. All feedback is a gift, and I very much appreciate yours...

In the early morning of June 21, 2024 I pulled out the regular camera and took a stroll around the house. It's been a while since I went back to my old photography hobby, but had a blast finding these cool images. (Featured on my other mini channel) https://youtu.be/V4B3mrXiCNY

I've had a passion for making wood art, furniture and kinetic sculptures for family and friends for more than 30 years, originally taught by my grandfather and father and then honing my skills as my wood shop grew. I love making whimsical and colorful art pieces along with beefy furniture that carries a timeless design and a frame that will last forever. A further background in design, technical engineering and problem solving feeds my passion on each project and while you watch the video, we figure out together how to best complete the project build with quality, strustural integrity and beauty. I'm proud of a lot of things in my life with family being at the top of the list, but my time in the wood shop and the projects created there run a pretty close second. I'm super grateful that you might choose to follow us as we create the "next thing" from the shop especially since we don't advertise, ask for membership fees, or take on questionable sponsors. I love you guys!
