Farmer with an attitude

I am the third generation of my family to farm in NW Oregon. my kids are actively involved in daily activities. my wife is fifth generation of her family to be involved in agriculture. Gosselin Farms has been in operation at our current location since 1963. we raise Polled Hereford cattle, cereal grains, small seed crops and hay. at one time we farmed over 1500 acres, sadly, most, if not all of that once highly productive farm ground is all under concrete and asphalt. currently farming whatever ground we can find, mostly smaller fields in the hills.
2018 brought on some changes.. my father suddenly passed away June 26, 2018.he was still the boss, now mom is the boss, at over 80 years old, still as tough as ever! I have run the daily operations since the late 1980s....still have to answer to the boss!! June 8, 2019, after a little encouragement from a few youtubers, I made my first youtube video. met a lot of great people doing it!!
