My name is Devin Mackey.
I grew up homeschooled and indoctrinated in American Evangelicalism among "us vs. them" nationalism. Hidden away, told to fear everyone who isn't like me, and generally barred from my personal truth.
After many years of deconstructing and reconstructing/healing/uncovering and developing my own identity and value systems, I have discovered my own personal beliefs in things like no boarders, spirituality over religion, and the right to be who you are and to love who you love; but there is so much more to explore.
I am now ready to indulge fully in my curiosities. I invite you to join me and to learn, to unlearn, to support, to criticize, to question, and to add your own important point of view to the conversation.
Together we can shift through the illusions, find our truths, and move towards a world that makes sense.
