my name is puma and i shuffle since early 2008. There are no rules in my dancing world so i dance to everything. There are no fixed steps in shuffling. It is largely a free form dance tradition. Each shuffler has a set of moves they shuffle around to suit their mood and setting. I dislike shuffle battles or shuffle leagues. that was not the sense of shuffling and still not is.
