Hi! My name is Russell.
I have been into videography and visual effects for almost 8 years, and lately I have enjoyed shooting macro. Compared to common videos, macro projects allow seeing deeper and creating something very special you want to share with others. The art of capturing small objects, their structure, texture, micro movements gives free scope to imagination. It’s like looking through a telescope or a spyglass extremely close. I try using a different approach for each video. For instance, sound design helps maximizing perception, so I add ASMR sounds to some of my videos that gives this satisfying and tingling sensation and relaxation. There are also MACRO QUIZ videos, you can play alone or with friends trying to guess what objects were captured.
