OK, since you guys generally came up with suggestions which are not open on a Sunday evening, let's do this. Hooley House, in the Power and Light district, 1900 Sunday 27th. (Edit. Now 1915. Left Iowa a little late)

Any recommendations for a good place to have a meetup in the Kansas City area? Not too loud. Figure maybe 6pm Sunday 27th?
(I'll post further details in an update)

I'm talking to a couple of companies about the idea of making a plush/cuddly Emotional Support Missile. One of the criteria for selection is just how many orders they need before they'll consider production. So, the question for you is how many of you will pay about $40-45 USD after shipping for a 9-10" long/high fuzzy and snuggly ESM? If you see this survey on my other channels, please only respond to one.

Apparently there aren't many tank-specific Spanish-language channels from South of the US border. Found this chap in Toronto, though.

Nobody on any platform has indicated a desire to come out tonight, so I'll spend the evening with family. I'll throw out the 10th as an alternate option. Mid September may also be a possibly.

Meetup option. Perea (near Thessaloniki). Joy Bar, Tue 2nd July 9pm. We'll see if there are any takers.

So I'm on a large military exercise (To be followed by a vacation... anyone in Dubrovnik? Thessaloniki?) and I'm running into followers here. It's a bit weird to be approached by someone, not knowing if they want to say 'hi' or if they want help killing something.

Launching: The Chieftain Gaming. @Surefirechip has suggested I create a gaming channel, and seems to have (at this time) 79 likes for the idea. OK, fine. I've done so, uploaded a few vids, and we'll see where it goes. Expect sims and strategy, mainly. Clicky-linky thing.

So @PerunAU just gave me a shoutout/thank you for helping him get off the ground with his channel. I think he slightly overstates the assistance provided, but I appreciate the nod. That said, I was merely passing it forward: I was myself the recipient of free advice from particularly Ian McCollum (Forgotten Weapons), and a bit from Bernhard Khast over on Military History Visualized, who themselves were well ahead of me on their Youtube journeys and gave me some tips. Hopefully Perun will himself keep the chain going. In the meantime, next down I'm down that way, apparently I need to bring my Imperial Guard company to put that filthy Xenos scum in his place...

Well, a happy new year to you all. (We've caught up, here in Texas). There are already a couple of filming trips on my schedule, and we'll see what else crops up...

The Chieftain (Real name Nicholas Moran) is an amateur historian and Wargaming America's resident tanker. Here the emphasis is on long-form, in-depth videos, with a priority on getting inside vehicles to gain the 'human factors' evaluation of things from the end user's perspective as well as other materials sourced from archives.
