Appointed to the Chicago Symphony by Daniel Barenboim, Yeh worked closely with artists such as Barenboim, Boulez, Dutoit, Chailly, Temirkanov. A winner of the 1st Neeme Järvi Conducting Competition, he shared the podium with Maestro Järvi at the final concert of the David Oistrakh Festival in Estonia. He travels around the world performing with orchestras including the Petrozavodsk Phil, Kharkov Phil, Sochi Chamber, Evanston SO, and St. Petersburg Radio SO. Yeh conducted Handel's Messiah with the Novosibirsk Phil. in the 4th Intl X'mas Festival for the Arts, with soloists/choirs from Germany, England, Lithuania and Russia. He was featured in the "Young Maestro Series" with the Taipei Chinese Orch. He opened the Beethoven Symphony Series, and the Intl String Music Festival with the National Taiwan SO. He was the Music Director of the SOPRF Chamber, WSYO,NSCO, Assoc. Cond. of SOPRFS and Prin. Cond. of Sochi SO. Currently Principal Guest Cond. of St. Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic.
