Hi. My name is KJ, and I hike and backpack.
This channel is for beginners to experienced hikers and backpackers that have families, limited budgets, and need to cut through all the fluff because, like me, you just don't have an endless budget or a lot of time to make mistakes. You would rather spend the money and time going backpacking several times a year. One to three days and your good. Get back to the family and get back to work. I am not an ultralightweight through-hiker, but I think like one.
I don't spend my whole paycheck on gear--because you don't have to in order to ger quality or good deals. I am lightweight, budget-minded, and want you to learn from my mistakes with 'How To's' so that your valuable time spent in the wilderness does not go to waste.
