Welcome to my creative lab!
The purpose of this channel is to help me uninhibit myself in my creative process and, I hope, to inspire other artists to stepping out of their comfort zone and not having too much expectation for the results. Some of my best compositions, in my opinion, are the result of this exploration mindset and lowering my expectations of the outcome.
In April 2021, I challenged myself to compose every week, for 1 year (52 weeks) from a randomly chosen constraint. This series is called âWeekly Crapâ. I rose to the challenge, even exceeding my goal and wrote a song a week for 62 consecutive weeks.
Occasionally, I share my creative process because I like to be inspired by others and I find that YouTube is lacking in that sphere. I give myself other creative challenges from time to time (ex. #Jamuary).
