The Mobil brand was born in 1931, when Socony merged with Vacuum Oil, and other companies owned by Standard Oil before dissolving. The new company created a range of products under the Mobil brand with the logo of a red pegasus. The brand was consolidated on all continents. Fast-forward to 1999, when Exxon & Mobil joined to form ExxonMobil Corporation. Today, we are the largest petroleum and petrochemical company in the world that is listed on the stock exchange.
