The 2 Party System has compromised government, as elected officials are hopelessly corrupt.
When we encounter corruption, we have three choices:
1. Join it
2. Ignore it
3. Fight it
Those who join-in the corruption are ultimately consumed by a darkened heart and compromised soul, in an attempt to satisfy a never-ending lust for wealth, power & material gain.
As for those who ignore the corruption - well, Dante (il sommo poeta) put it best, "the darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis."
Power, status, elitism, hate, greed, contempt, revenge, fear, control, money, houses, cars, boats, jewelry, whores, drugs, drinks and the like, are all immoral and worthless; compared to love, compassion, honesty, joy, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, patience, kindness, freedom, equality, peace, truth, honor, justice, respectfulness and self-control. These traits don't cost a dime, but are without question, priceless.
