حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَ أَحَدَهُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ٱرۡجِعُونِ
until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back
لَعَلِّيٓ أَعۡمَلُ صَٰلِحٗا فِيمَا تَرَكۡتُۚ كَلَّآۚ إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَآئِلُهَاۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِم بَرۡزَخٌ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ
so that I may do righteousness in what I left. Never! It is only a ˹useless˺ appeal they make. And there is a barrier behind them until the Day they are resurrected.
(Surah Al-Mu'minun Verse No. 99-100)
