Follow me, Dave, on my astrophotography adventures.
I started this hobby in March 2020 after spending about 2 years watching many other channels on Youtube and looking at too many shopping sites! I spend half my year on an oil platform in the offshore waters of Qatar, and need other things to keep me occupied when I am at home on leave for the other 6 months of the year. Although I am from the UK, I moved to Qatar where I lived for 2 years, then subsequently moved to Cyprus with my family. Now, I commute back and forth to/from Qatar on a monthly rotation.
Other than astrophotography, I also enjoy being out and about the mountains and hills of Cyprus on my quad bike and also have a lot of IT related interested from general tinkering, 3D printing and coding.
Anyway, come along and see how things get on. And please feel free to drop me and tips and suggestions in the comments to help me improve on this ever so sometimes (most of the time) frustrating, but rewarding hobby. Clear Skies!
