www.givesendgo.com/ClevelandPuppy?utm_source=share… While in Cleveland this weekend we noticed cars swerving around something in the road. Initially, we thought it was a black trash bag. As we got closer we could see that it was a little black dog that had been hit by a car. No one was stopping to help. We pulled to the side and a man in an SUV stopped in the road to block traffic for us once he saw what we were doing. Then a woman got out of her car and pulled a few old towels from the trunk of her car. We carried him to the side of the road and laid him down in the grass. He was still breathing and moving his head around somewhat. Very little. The woman tried to knock on a few doors to see if anyone knew who he belonged to but no one answered their doors. We couldn't just leave him their so we took him home with us not knowing if he would be alive by the time we made the 2 hour drive home. He did and upon further investigation he appears to be about 6-10 months old. He picks his head up occasionally but cannot walk without falling over. He has scrapes on his nose and rarely opens his eyes. We will be taking him to the vet in the morning and have no idea what the cost will be but wanted to give him a fighting chance. He's such a little guy but he's fighting no doubt. If anyone is able to help chip in a few bucks, anything is appreciated. If you can't we ask that you share this link with someone you know who might be able to. Thanks for taking the time to give this a look and consideration

lane change project this lovely unique female in the first picture has an interesting dorsal pattern. Her dorsal is not solid it is broken up by her pattern. I originally thought she was a genetic anomaly. Something that would not be able to be produced again just an interesting Eastern garter snake. Well when I purchased her I did not know she was pregnant at the time and she had 40 babies sadly the majority were stillborn she produced 10 Healthy Babies. two unfortunately passed away failure to thrive. But eight are thriving and have great appetites . All the babies have some form of broken dorsal even the stillborns. I'm calling it The Lane change project because the pattern reminds me of the dashed Lanes on the highway. I've noticed as the garter snake babies have aged the pattern has got more extreme and us slowly going up the dorsal as well.
