Welcome to Carrollton, Texas! We are a very stereotypical Texas town. Many of our families have lived here for generations. We are friendly, and we love our diverse community. We have a very small town country feel, we know local store owners' names, and we take food to each other when we our neighbors are ill. We have a small downtown area that is well over 100 years old, and we still run it the way we did back in the 1920s. Many of the buildings there are owned and run by people who live in the area.
The best way to describe us would be to compare us to the real-life Hallmark town. We are a place where we value community and relationships. If you don't believe me, simply visit The Vintage House on Beltline and Interstate 35. The old Pink House is owned and operated by the Wolvoord family. Walk into that store and say Carrollton City Limits sent you and find out firsthand how special this Texas town really is.
