These are short video accounts of individual books. None exceeds ten minutes, and some are as short as three: my feeling is that readers will probably prefer reading to watching me - and ten minutes of my face and voice is as much as anyone can reasonably be expected to endure!

I have sorted the videos into playlists, partly by region (North America, Britain & Ireland, etc.), but also by subject matter (Philosophy, Social & Political Thought, etc.) Occasionally, a book fits into two categories at once, so please do a search if you can't find what you're looking for.

Most of these videos have subtitles burned in. The earlier ones still don't, but I'm hoping to rectify that soon.

My background includes a DPhil (on the relationship between Max Stirner and Karl Marx), an MA in Philosophy (both from Sussex University), and a BA in Biblical Studies from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I have also written a variety of books, which you can find at coolmillenniumbooks.com.
