LAURILIN DESIGNS SOAPWORKS is named after a mother-daughter team. Our name is the first half of the mom’s name (Laurie) and second half of the daughter’s name (Caitlin) smooshed together.
LAURILIN DESIGNS became official on paper in 2018, BUT Laurie has been making cold process soap for over twelve years (since 2007). She started when her son was born and the family was looking for an alternative to the commercially made soap that made her family’s skin itchy.
Then she discovered the world of SOAP ART.
