June 18, 2021, I was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease secondary to Chronic Glomerulonephritis. March 2, 2022, nine months after, me & my family talked things out & came up desperate to find the best possible treatment that is why we decided to go to Davao City. We travelled as a family bringing with us the hope and faith to beat the Kidney Disease, just like the song “to beat the odds together”. We found a place to live here in Davao with the plan of renting it for 6 months. After our 1st visit to the doctor, we were advised to get a house with a room with a separate toilet inside. This will be used post-operatively because I will be isolated for 2 months. We prayed and asked the Lord for the exact house required by my phycisian. We did search for houses for rent nearby SPMC and after so many house visits and walkathons, we found the perfect house & this is where we currently live. Indeed, God is working in the most silent moments. We had our fair share of ups and downs in the whole process from the waiting time of the blood extraction up to the waiting time of the results to the procurement of legal and non legal documents, financial struggles and all other setbacks our family had to face. It is so hard to thank God and praise him knowing that what we are facing is something we cannot fathom. But, I realized that this is a reminder for me that I have a God to count on in every moment of my life and that only God can provide a solution in every problem. We just have to admit the truth that we are nobody without him. To God we offered all of our worries and burdens. To Him we asked for guidance and provision. In Him we trusted the whole journey. I thanked Him for letting me experience the hardship and witness his glory & miracle happen in me. I love you Lord. You are an amazing God.
