Kingsclere is a OO gauge model railway under construction in a loft in the UK.
Kingsclere is a fictitious station on a fictitious line between Basingstoke and Newbury.
The layout is based in the early 1960s period, so the latter days of steam and the early days of diesels, giving a wide range of traction and stock.
The layout began during lockdown and has been slowly developing ever since.
A DCC controlled layout and all traction has sound.
Background:
Unfortunately, the BKE (Basingstoke to Reading) line and the DNSR (Newbury and Winchester) line have both been closed due to works and a land slip, respectively. So all North - South routes over this weekend are via Kingsclere. This line usually only has three paths per hour; so the increase in traffic will definitely wake up the signaller. However, it will be great for the local spotters!
