My First Nation name was given to me by a Stoney Nakoda Elder in Morley, Alberta. The name is Ah Hopà Yà Mài Thà, meaning one who provides or is a respected hunter. When I was posted on the Nation I would share my wild game with elders and other members of the community. They were very grateful and appreciated the meat.
