The Texas country music scene continues to produce up and coming singer/songwriters, and Lawson Harris is no exception. Harris grew up just 40 miles north of Fort Worth, Texas in the small town of Decatur, where his love for country music began. Growing up just outside of the infamous âCowtownâ, Harris was surrounded by the rodeo lifestyle and country music, so he decided to do both!
After rodeoing for two years at Weatherford College, Lawson moved to College Station, Texas and decided he wanted to pursue a musical career full-time. After a short time in the Brazos Valley, he developed a strong following and began playing shows all around Texas, but he wanted more.
Lawson moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 20. He began writing songs and playing with some of the industryâs best around Music City.
Lawson prides himself on staying true to his Texas rodeo roots, and it shows in his music. Being only 25 years old, Lawson is just beginning his exciting career in country music.
