My name is Inara and I live in the United Kingdom. I got my cooking inspiration from Turkish, Turkmen and Azerbaijani culture. I love their food and the way they present it but especially meeting people from these cultures and traditions made me love cooking by showing that cooking is not just a woman's role.
They cook and eat together and I noticed, the men always appreciated their women and kiss their hands after eating the food. Seeing this made me step into the kitchen, but this time, only as a passion.
The first bread I made was a bit undercooked but I was very happy and proud of myself that day. That was the first time I did not feel burdened or defeated when entering the kitchen and now I enjoy baking and cooking for my family. I make sure we all eat together when I cook.
I practice and make my family practice as well to appreciate whoever cooks for you.
